As part of the infrastructure supporting the 2002 Winter Olympics, the Olympic Legacy Bridge at the University of Utah was constructed using Xypex Admix C-500. This crystalline waterproofing additive was integrated into 5,000 cubic yards of concrete to provide permanent protection against freeze-thaw cycles, chloride penetration, and harsh environmental conditions.
The use of Xypex Admix enhanced the bridge’s durability and long-term performance, making it a showcase of sustainable concrete technology in a high-profile public project.
